PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Image

Exploration, excitement and adventure are all on the cards when you sign up for our PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course.

Want to fine-tune your diving skills and explore some of the world’s best dive sites? Our PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course lets you do just that. Don’t let the ‘advanced’ bit put you off – you don’t have to be to sign up. It’s a structured course designed for anyone who has completed the PADI Open Water Diver course or equivalent. Your confidence in the water will grow and you’ll build on what you’ve already learned. It’s a fun way to get more dives under your belt, too.

To get your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification, you’ll do five dives. Two are compulsory. First is the Underwater Navigator Dive where you’ll learn to find your way around the reef using a compass and natural clues. The second is Deep Dive, which gives you the techniques to dive to deeper depths of 18-30 metres. Both are an exhilarating challenge.

The great things about the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is that you get to choose three other adventure dives. You can take your pick from...

  • AWARE Fish Identification Dive
  • Boat Dive
  • Drift Dive
  • Enriched Air Nitrox Dive
  • Multilevel and Computer Dive
  • Night Dive
  • Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive
  • Search & Recovery Dive
  • Underwater Naturalist Dive
  • Underwater Photography Dive

It’s a really varied mix, with something for everyone. You can go down the technical route with options like the Enriched Air Nitrox Dive and Multilevel and Computer Dive. Or maybe you want to brush up on your marine life skills. In which case, go for the Underwater Naturalist Dive or AWARE Fish Identification Dive which teach you all about the aquatic ecosystem and the animal life that live there.
