PADI eLearning Open Water Diver

PADI eLearning Open Water Diver Image

If you want to spend less time in the classroom and more time in the water, sign up for our PADI eLearning course and learn before you go!

If you’re going to be on a tight diving timetable while you’re away – or just can’t wait to get in the water – our PADI eLearning course is just the ticket. It’s a really flexible way to complete part of your scuba certification before you even fly to the Red Sea. The big bonus is that you’ll tick off the academic side of things at home, so you won’t have to spend precious diving time in the classroom once you’re here. It frees you up to go straight into the water to learn the practical side of things.

The other great thing about the PADI eLearning course is that you can complete it in the comfort of your own home via the web. All you need is a PC and you’re away. You can get started straight away – you don’t need any prior scuba knowledge, as you’ll learn as you go. Best of all, you can go at your own pace and at a time to suit you, not us.

You’ll find the PADI eLearning course really structured and simple to follow. The content is broken down into easy-to-learn sections. It covers things like safe diving practices, dive equipment, the buddy system and breathing air at depth. And to make sure you understand everything, you can take Quick Quizzes at every stage before you take the compulsory Knowledge Review assessment. You can easily keep track of sections you’ve yet to do and which ones you’ve completed. Plus, you can access any additional tools you need online – so course manuals, things like that. It’s interactive, too – you can join in online discussions with us and other students.

The course price includes tuition and full equipment hire, but doesn’t include the PADI certification fee or PADI online registration fee of 106 GBP - please follow link in the Important Information tab to register with PADI.

Weather & Water Temps

The sun shines in the Red Sea 365 days a year with virtually no rain.

Depending on the time of year, the thermometer hovers between 24°C and 39°C and the water temperature is 22°C to 26°C – so diving is great year-round.
